    It has been a season of firsts for area golf teams as the Pirates boys completed another perfect season undefeated, East Dubuque’s girls team qualified for state competition, Stockton’s Alex Staver and Megan Gille competed in their second consecutive tournaments, and Jack Einsweiler seemed to come out of nowhere to qualify for state competition with what he called, “the round of a lifetime.”
