Townsend earns Mary Kay car

SCALES MOUND-Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, Judee Townsend of Scales Mound, is on the road to success. This month, Townsend earned the use of a new Pontiac G6 as a result of her outstanding achievement in operating her independent Mary Kay business.
The Pontiac G6, one of the newest additions to the Mary Kay Career Car Program, is offered in a smoky platinum color. In addition to the Pontiac G6, the Mary Kay Career Car Program includes the crossover Pontiac Vibe, Saturn Aura XE, crossover Saturn Vue AWD XE and the pearlized pink Cadillac. Mary Kay career car qualifiers also have the option of selecting cash compensation in lieu of the car.
Since the program's inception in 1969, more than 120,000 independent sales force members have either qualified or re-qualified to earn the use of a Mary Kay career car. Currently, more than 6,000 Mary Kay career cars are on the road nationwide.
"The Career Car Program provides the independent sales force the opportunity to earn the use of a visible symbol of their success." said Gary Jinks, Mary Kay Inc. senior vice president of sales. "Each car obtained through this exciting program reflects the hard work, determination and professionalism of the independent sales force."
Townsend took delivery of the new Pontiac G6, at Kunes Country, Mt. Carroll on Saturday, May 16.
