Apple Canyon Lake-Is your water clean? Join the Conservation Guardians of NW Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1:30 p.m. to learn how water travels through the landscape and what might be affecting your drinking water. The program will utilize an EnviroScape, a large scale model that demonstrates the movement of water through a watershed and the pollution runoff may cause.

This free event will take place at Apple Canyon Lake's beach shelter.

The Conservation Guardians of Northwest Illinois is a division of the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation, a local non profit dedicated to protecting the natural wonders of the Jo Daviess County area. The mission is to promote understanding of natural resources issues and sound environmental practices, to help identify and protect natural areas, and to create and facilitate programs aimed at preserving native habitat.
