Phillip Robinson, 40, of Deerfield, is charged in Jo Daviess Circuit Court with two counts of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, class 4 felonies.
 According to court documents, on Nov. 22, Robinson, after being given visual and audible signals by a police officer, operated a 2009 Chevrolet on U.S. 20 at Tranel Lane in East Dubuque, at a rate of 21 miles over the legal limit, in an attempt to elude a Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Officer.
Robinson is also charged with reckless driving, a class B misdemeanor, and leaving the scene of an accident, a class A misdemeanor. A court date is scheduled for Dec. 16.
Sentencing guidelines suggest a $25,000 fine and one to three years in prison for class 4 felonies; a $2,500 fine and up to a year in jail for class A misdemeanors; and a $1,500 fine and up to six months in jail for class B misdemeanors.
Unlawful possession of prescription drugs
A Galena man was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
According to court documents, on Nov. 30, Andrew Brashaw, 20, had Cephalexin, an antibiotic, and Alprazolam, an anxiety disorder medication. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance is a class 4 felony.
Brashaw also had, according to the criminal complaint, between 2.5 and 10 grams of cannabis. A court date is scheduled for Dec. 16.
Warren man charged with theft
Chad Knauer, 24, Warren, allegedly stole a 1985 Club Car golf cart. According to the criminal complaint, the theft happened on Sept. 5.
Theft is a class 3 felony. Knauer's court date is Dec. 16. Sentencing guidelines suggest a $25,000 fine and two to five years in prison, if convicted.
Trying to elude in East Dubuque
According to records in Jo Daviess Circuit Court, a warrant was issued for the arrest of a Hazel Green man on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
On Nov. 22, Christopher Lisk, 30, allegedly attempted escaped from police who tried to pull him over. The criminal complaint says that Lisk was driving a 1996 Dodge Intrepid on U.S. 35 in East Dubuque at a rate of 21 miles over the legal limit. He allegedly refused to pull over for an East Dubuque Police Officer.
The crime is a class 4 felony.
Police apprehended Lisk on Friday, Dec. 11. A court date is planned for Dec. 17.
