SCALES MOUND–Edward A. “Eddie” Meyer, 84, of Scales Mound, passed away on Tuesday morning, Aug. 8, 2017 at the Galena Stauss Senior Care Community in Galena, from complications of a stroke.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home in Scales Mound, with Rev. Dianne Grace officiating. Burial will be in the Scales Mound Township Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by members of VFW Post 2665 and the American Legion Post both of Galena. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Friday at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home in Scales Mound.
