Fatal hit-and-run case: Cory Rogers charged with felonies

GALENA–On Thursday, Sept. 29, Cory Rogers, 27, Scales Mound, was charged with one count failure to report an accident involving personal injury or death, a class 1 felony, and one count failure to report an accident involving personal injury or death, a class 4 felony, stemming from a hit-and-run accident on Sept. 17 resulting in the death of Alex M. Boelk, 17, Apple River.
