EAST DUBUQUE–Mrs. Gilbert B. (Irene A. Heim) Tranel, 93, of East Dubuque, formerly of Menominee, went peacefully to her heavenly home Monday, July 25, 2016, at Luther Manor, Dubuque, Iowa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 30, at Nativity B.V.M. Church, Menominee, with the Rev. Steven A. Lundgren and Deacon Larry Tranel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, 1185 Route 35 N, East Dubuque. The parish and Nativity B.V.M. Saint Ann Society will recite the rosary at 2:45 p.m. Friday.
