Illinois Department of Public Health provides resources about COVID-19
GALENA–Midwest Medical Center and the Jo Daviess County Health Department are making plans to handle questions related to COVID-19.
The hospital will have a nurse, dedicated to answering questions, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by telephone. The hospital is committed to providing a consistent, trained and educated resource on COVID19.
Those with question between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. should call 815-777-6073. For questions after 5 p.m., call 815-777-1340.
If you are experiencing symptoms, call before visiting the hospital or clinics.
The health department has set up a new coronavirus email address: covid19@jodaviess.org . Use this email if you have questions or concerns about COVID-19 especially as it relates to us in Jo Daviess County or if you are unable to get through to the hotline. Responses will likely be quicker than leaving a voicemail.
