Words of warning from the trail

I popped right back up, covered in gravel and confusion. I can’t think of a better metaphor for life in my forties.

A very good friend of mine recently upended his life. He decided to become a minister. He was working in the Chicagoland area, and for almost two decades made a living designing and working on creative projects for insurance companies.
