Members of the Galena Downtown Business Association spent time Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 30 wrapping light posts in downtown Galena with white Christmas lights. Dana Meadows braved the ladder to secure the lights to a South Main Street post as Britt White helped out. Days before, the Galena Fire Department hung the wreaths, which were wrapped in lights by the Galena High School Key Club, from the posts. This is a busy weekend for downtown businesses as Living Windows and Night of Luminaria take place Saturday, Dec. 11.
