STOCKTON–Janet H. Groezinger, 63, Stockton, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at home surrounded by her family after a year and a half courageous battle with sarcoma cancer.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton. There will be a visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will take place at Ladies Union Cemetery in Stockton. A memorial fund has been established. DAVENPORT, Iowa–Jeffrey T. Sullivan, 65, Davenport, Iowa, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, June 11 at Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover. GALENA–David E. Smith, 88, passed away peacefully Nov. 29, 2021, at his home with his loved ones by his side.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, where friends may gather after 10 a.m. until the time of service.

BURNSVILLE, NC.–Nancy Carol Anderson Yantchook passed away on May 6, 2022, at the Smoky Ridge Health and Rehab Facility, Burnsville, NC.

She will be interned in the Shrine of Remembrance Chapel in Michigan Memorial Park, Flatrock, Mich. Anyone who knew Nancy will miss her so very, very, very much.

DUBUQUE, Iowa–Terrance L. Richards, 73, Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Galena, passed away at 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at ManorCare Health Services, Dubuque, Iowa.

There will be no public visitation. A private family services will be in June at Prospect Hill Cemetery, rural Galena. The Miller Funeral Home of East Dubuque is serving the family.

KALAMAZOO, Mich.–Lola Mae Cleda Etzkorn Gartner passed away peacefully on May 4, 2022, at Friendship Village, Kalamazoo, Mich., where she had been a resident for the past seven years.

The family will celebrate with a graveside service and have a memorial service including the public at First Presbyterian Church, Galena, sometime this summer.

MENOMINEE–Donald D. Imbus, 77, Menominee, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. Dominic Villa, Sinsinawa, Wis., surrounded by his family.

Family and Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, May 12 at the Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, where the parish scripture service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Members of the American Legion Post 787 will meet at the funeral home at 6 p.m. Thursday. There will also be a visitation on Friday at the church from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. A Mass of christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. at the Nativity B.V.M. Church, Menominee. The Rev. is Dennis Vargas officiating.

Burial will be in Nativity BVM Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by members of American Legion Post 787, East Dubuque.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 15 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. Friends may gather after 10 a.m. until the time of service. Military honors will begin the celebration of life. Those honors will be accorded by Galena VFW Post 2665 and American Legion Post 193, Galena. Cremation rites have been accorded.
