State to hold Moderna booster clinic Nov. 4 at River Ridge; 10 new COVID cases in Jo Daviess County since last Wednedsay

GALENA–The Jo Daviess County Health Department is announcing that the Illinois Department of Public Health will be conducting a walk-in Moderna booster vaccination clinic, 1-30-6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, at River Ridge School. The clinic is authorized for those 18 years of age and older. No registration is needed.

The health department  is also reporting 10 additional COVID-19 cases since Wednesday, Oct. 27. The regional seven-day rolling average positivity rate is 3.9 percent and the county rate is at 5.2 percent. According to the CDC Jo Daviess County has a high level of community transmission.
