PLATTEVILLE, Wis.–Elsie E. Virtue, 77, Platteville, Wis., passed away peacefully on her 31st wedding anniversary, Nov. 25, 2020, at UW Hospital, Madison, of COVID-19, surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory, Platteville. A private family service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Platteville Free Methodist Church. The Rev. Jeff Suits will officiate.

The funeral service will be live streamed on the Platteville Free Methodist Church Facebook page at 11 a.m.

While in attendance at the funeral home and church, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Memorials may be made to the Elsie Virtue Memorial Fund, which can be mailed to the funeral home at P.O. Box 245, Platteville, WI 53818.
