Hartig adopts face covering policy for all stores

DUBUQUE–Hartig Drug is now requiring all customers and patients to wear face coverings while shopping in its retail locations. Hartig’s wants customers to wear face coverings to protect themselves, Hartig’s employees and the immunocompromised patients that must enter pharmacy locations.

“With the recent spike in COVID-19 infections, we’re joining other organizations to require all customers wear face coverings when entering any of our stores effective Monday, July 27. To be clear, we’re not asking our store employees to enforce this requirement, but are asking that our patients and customers protect themselves and those around them by following the majority of public health experts and Centers for Disease Control instruction to wear face coverings,” stated Charles Hartig, CEO.
