Take a look through the glass into one of Lois Mihok’s horse-themed dioramas, and the amount of detail is astounding. The sculptures of horses and people are beautiful, as are the trees, the background, the fences, all of it.
“That’s the fun part, putting in the details,” said Mihok, a former rural Galena resident who now lives in Tinley Park.
